As we speak there my additional questions related to the migration process. Questions are in bold #1 The tourist visa in Cyprus is 90 days, if I have a process requesting for a Temporary Residence (Pink Slip) and the resolution granting the residence is not defined yet in those 90 days I could (have to) leave Cyprus without stopping the process? How long I could stay out of Cyprus? If I could leave Cyprus how I get notified about the resolution? #2 After getting the Temporary Residence permit (Pink Slip) for a year. In that year what is the maximum time I could stay out of Cyprus without losing this permit? #3 For the Temporary Residence permit (Pink Slip), does the counting of the year start on the date of the request OR on the date of granting? #4 In our call you mentioned that in order to facilitate/accelerate the process of getting a Temporary/Permanent Residence Permit would be better to register a company and establish a salary as the first employee. How much this salary should be in euros during the first year? Thank you so much for your help. Looking forward to starting the process to move to Cyprus. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Dear xxx, #1 The tourist visa in Cyprus is 90 days, if I have a process requesting for a Temporary Residence (Pink Slip) and the resolution granting the residence is not defined yet in those 90 days I could (have to) leave Cyprus without stopping the process? How long could I stay out of Cyprus? If I could leave Cyprus how would I get notified about the resolution? Our response: Any person entering the republic with tourist visa or a pro-visa (in case of Russia /Ukraine) can remain in Cyprus for 90days (that is 90days in total a year from the day of arrival therefore a person can spend 30days then another 30 and then another 30 in different time intervals). Have in mind that it is mandatory for the person to be physically present when applying for temporary residency. #2 After getting the Temporary Residence permit (Pink Slip) for a year. In that year what is the maximum time I could stay out of Cyprus without losing this permit? Our response: In any kind of residency permit the person is entitled to spend 90days abroad. Even if the 90 days are complete the visa is automatically cancelled and they need to reapply. #3 For the Temporary Residence permit (Pink Slip), does the counting of the year start on the date of the request OR on the date of granting? Our response: The day requested is the same day as the date granting the visa since the permit is issued the same time (a receipt is issued and within 2months an actual card in issued) #4 In our call you mentioned that in order to facilitate/accelerate the process of getting a Temporary/Permanent Residence Permit would be better to register a company and establish a salary as the first employee. How much this salary should be in euros during the first year? Our response: Please clarify if the person here is applying for a long term visitor visa (temporary residency permit) based on income from abroad or we are talking about registering a BCS company and he will be registered as a Director. If the case is the BCS company minimum salary for a director is 3400€ Previous Article Business Seminars from ANAD Next Article Registration of Foreign Employers in Cyprus Print 42 Rate this article: No rating Please login or register to post comments.
