In this short article we will show you how to simple it is to create a Cyprus company in few steps. Trust us we do this on a weekly basis! 1. Cyprus Company Structure All Cyprus companies must have the below set up: Director - at least 1 person Company Secretary - 1 person Shareholders - at least 1 and less than 50 persons Registered office - in the republic of Cyprus Want to know more - see explanatory video here. 2. Timeframes Company name approval - 5 working days (1 week) Company creation - 15 working days (3 weeks) Issuance of certificates - <5 working days after the company formation (< 1 week) As you can see setting up a company from scratch usually takes 3 - 4 weeks. Tip - If you urgently need a Cyprus company: a) you can obtain one by buying a company off the shelf (see explanatory video here) b) apply for any available name advised by your service provider and you can rename the company later on 3. The Process 1. Decide on the composition and set up 2. Agree on the fees 3. Sign relevant engagement letters 4.
